When can I plan to prepare the food?

The food should be prepared on same day you plan to visit us or as close as possible to the processing day.

What Precautions should be taken while preparation of food?

Vegetables should be cut in the size of around 6-8 mm to facilitate the removal of moisture at faster rate which aids in quick rehydration too.

Products like Chhole, Peas – should either be overcooked OR partially mashed to facilitate quick dehydration & rehydration too.

Paneer – if you are keen on adding panner we recommend shredding it & adding to the food preparation. This dish may take longer to rehydrate too. In all cases, we highly recommended dehydrating just the gravy & then adding fresh paneer cubes to the rehydrated gravy at same very moment when the dish has to be eaten.

Can we outsource the food from a preferred joint?

Yes, food can be outsourced but we highly recommend getting freshly cooked food from trusted joint as stale food or kept food might not taste good after processing. Also avoid storing food in plastic parcel containers.

In what condition should we get the food to you?

We highly recommend giving us food in room temperature.

This means that frozen food should be thawed before getting it to us. By all means, we recommend giving us freshly cooked food free from any contamination.

Also any person can collect the delivery against the receipt given by us.

What Precautions should be taken while getting the food?

Cooked food needs to be carried in Stainless Steel containers to avoid undesired flavours getting added to it due to storage container.

Please ensure while handing over / sending across, all containers are labelled with the Customer’s name, contact numbers, Name of the product, and Serving size or number of portions of the product desired to be mentioned on the each container.

Incase if you are unsure of the serving size, we can help you to weigh the serving portion. But you would have to visit personally for the same.

How do I rehydrate/reconstitute/use the food?

Every food item based on serving size desired is packed and labelled with complete guidelines for rehydrating the food. The dehydrated packet will be of lesser weight initially as water will have been extracted out. We recommend following the reconstituting guidelines that will be provided on the packet. Once you reconstitute the processed food with required water quantity as mentioned by us & allow it to cook/simmer until it is well reconstituted it will give you the exact serving size mentioned by you.
